The greening of Kálvária tér begins

Horticultural works are set to begin at Kálvária tér on October 12. The greening project focuses on the paved area adjacent to the dog run, where new perennial flower beds will be established to increase the green surface. The works are expected to last until late November 2026.

The aim of the development is to make the square more vibrant, greener, and more liveable for local residents and passersby through the addition of new, colorful plant beds. During the construction process, a variety of perennial plants will be planted to ensure a diverse appearance for the area.

The locations for the new plant beds will be created by removing the existing concrete seating cubes and pavement next to the dog run. The Kálvária tér dog run and the rest of the park will remain accessible and open for use throughout the duration of the works.

Construction may temporarily affect pedestrian movement. Pedestrians passing through the square are kindly requested to exercise increased caution, heed informational signs, and respect temporary closures and workspace markers.

No parking or general traffic restrictions are expected in the surrounding area; however, the construction work may involve temporary noise impacts.

Thank you for your understanding and patience!
