In April 2026, Józsefváros will hold its annual bulk waste collection.
Waste may only be placed out on the day before your district’s designated collection day.
- Placement period: April 13 – April 20, 2026.
- Collection period: April 14 – April 21, 2026.
Allowed items: Furniture, mattresses, carpets, large sports equipment, wooden crates.
Prohibited items: Daily household (kitchen) waste, textiles, construction debris, tires, green waste, electronic devices, and any hazardous materials.
Please place items in a location easily accessible to collection vehicles without obstructing pedestrian or vehicular traffic. Placing waste on roadways, bike paths, or green areas (parks, flower beds) is strictly prohibited and may result in a fine.
