Road repair works will start at several busy locations in our district from March 9, 2026. The goal is to fix old, broken road surfaces and make the streets safer for everyone.
Drivers and residents should expect some road closures and traffic changes in these areas. The first phase of the work is scheduled from Monday, March 9, to Friday, March 13, 2026.
Where and when to expect changes?
March 9–10, 2026
- Őr utca – Horváth Mihály tér: Half of the road will be closed; traffic will be redirected.
- Corner of Német utca and Baross utca: Half of the road will be closed; please expect slower traffic.
- Corner of József utca and Fecske utca: The entire road will be closed for a short time. This will likely last for about two hours. You will not be able to drive through this spot during that time.
- Corner of József utca and Auróra utca: Half of the road will be closed.
March 10–13, 2026
- Fecske utca – Népszínház utca: Half of the road will be closed, and traffic will be redirected.
- Corner of Légszesz utca and Fiumei út: There will be temporary half-road closures.
- Kis Fuvaros utca – Nagy Fuvaros utca: Half of the road will be closed.
